Day 1 of the is in the books! Last night marked a big first for Quade — his first start in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and his first time on the North/South 100 stage.
In just his third start of the season (and his rookie year) in the team’s #18 dirt late model, Quade:
• Turned competitive hot laps
• Qualified 14th in his group (17.596)
• Started 7th in his heat
• Finished 7th in the B-Main
We came up just short of transferring into the A-Main, but gained valuable seat time against the national tour pros and collected solid data. Proud of the effort on a huge stage with limited late model experience so far this year. We appreciate Shawn Fulwood's help with the car and working with Quade.
