It’s 10U vs. 11U in a friendly battle for bragging rights, with plenty of fun, competition, and memories to be made. Bring the family, cheer on both teams, and relive the days when the postgame Gatorade cooler was just as exciting as the final score!

Admission: One canned good per person, with all donations benefiting our local food pantry.

Come out, support a great cause, and help us celebrate what youth baseball is all about—community, competition, and having fun.

What an incredible turnout for our Spring 2027 Prairie State Expos tryouts! The talent and competition this year were outstanding, and we’re grateful to every player and family who came out and gave it everything they had.

After a lot of tough decisions, we’re excited to officially introduce our 10U and 11U Maximum Exposure rosters!

The Prairie State Expos are looking to add a few dedicated players to round out our 2027 10U and 11U rosters.

🔹 10U Expos
Built around a core group that:
* 🏆 2025 8U International World Series Semifinalists
* Competed against teams from Puerto Rico, Asia, and the Dominican Republic
* Skipped 9U competition to challenge themselves at the 10U level in 2026
* Extremely experienced group with one goal: make a serious run on the USSSA circuit in 2027
* Competed at Youth World Series 2026 (Made Gold Bracket)

🔹 11U Expos
Built around a core group that finished the 2026 season on a high note:
* 🏆 Core Group: Back-to-back tournament champions to end 2026 year.
* 🏆 Core Group: 2026 USSSA Northern Illinois A/AA State Champions
* Experienced players looking to continue competing against high-level competition throughout the Midwest

Most people only see the games and highlight reels.

What they don't see are the countless practices, extra lessons, backyard reps, long car rides, and hours spent at the ballpark. These young athletes put in more time than most people realize. They learn to take coaching and criticism, develop an advanced understanding of the game, and compete under pressure while parents cheer loudly and opponents battle just as hard.

And yet, they keep showing up because they absolutely love baseball.

This week at the Lake of the Ozarks Youth World Series was a reminder that travel ball is about so much more than wins and losses. It's about friendships built between innings, pool time after games, laughs at the cabins, and memories that will last long after the final out.

We are proud of these athletes for the effort, resilience, and love they bring to the game every single day.


Thanks Kayli Rowe for capturing our sweet boys. While they are fierce competitors for their age, they really are just 8, 9 and 10 year old kiddos with the biggest hearts.
