We want to take a solemn moment to announce today that our starting pitching Jim has moved on to yet another age. Please help us in wishing him the happiest of birthdays.

***Victory Monday***

Despite a winless July, the Sidewinders quickly hopped back into the win column on Sunday by taking game 2 of their DH against the 1st place Bucs winning 14-5.

Consistent run production, lockdown defense, and solid pitching was the recipe needed to end the weekend on a high note!

Through 21 games, the Sidewinders are sitting 2 spots back from the playoff race. Business will need to be handled the last 3 games of the year and will require help to get in. This Saturday, we are set for a battle up north against the Brewers where we look to get another win and keep playoff hopes alive. See you there!

Highlights from July 5th's matchup of Blue Island Classic vs Team MSL AA!

In the inaugural interleague showdown, the Sidewinders were proudly represented by Jim Charek in a 2-1 win for Team MSL over Blue Island. He entered the game in the 9th inning and shut the door earning the save with 1 strikeout and no hits surrendered.

We look forward to having a few more names added to the roster next year!
