Hey everybody! Please come to our fundraiser Sunday, 8/9!!! We’ve got some great prizes, including free general admission tickets to the Museum of Science and Industry, a lil microscope w/ some cool slides to look at, a periodic table (please don’t lick stuff), and some beautiful microscopy pics for home or office decor. Any of those prizes are worth well over the $20 bucks we’re asking for the bingo cards. It is a GOOD TIME, and a great way to get one more fun thing in before the summer says peace out. WE NEED YOU THERE! Reserve your table at Hamburger Mary’s for 6 or 6:30 and be ready to start bingo at 7. Grab a bunch of friends and bring cash!!

Join ChiTownBio for a night of experimentation with biomaterials and natural dyes as we explore how biology and biotechnology may be key in order to solve the climate crisis and so many of the looming problems in modern society. We’ll make sure to have enough supplies for everyone to participate in multiple experiments and a few demos to add to the experience. More deets on Meetup!

ChiTownBio is affirming its commitment to sustainability and environmental education by engaging in several activities for Chicago Climate Week. From panel discussions at the Music Box Theatre (7/17), a biomaterials workshop at the lab (7/20), and a panel discussion at The Marketplace of the Future at mHUB (7/25), there are many ways for our ChiTownBio community to get involved!
