Chicago Votes is joining forces with and 93 Boyz for a night of civics, culture, and cannabis! We’re curating an educational community event that brings together cannabis consumers, advocates, community organizations, and creatives to learn about:
- Cannabis rights and policy education
- Voting rights and civic participation
- Voting access for formerly & current incarcerated individuals
- Cannabis legalization impacts and community conversations
- Resources available for community members
- Opportunities to get involved locally
- Cannabis products provided by various dispensaries across the city
- Exclusive Chicago Votes merch raffle
*There will be no cannabis consumed on the premises. All cannabis products provided are to be consumed off-site safely and responsibly!

Stand up for justice. Stand up for community!

You’re invited to an evening of community, creativity, and connection as we write letters to people incarcerated in Illinois. Through this event, participants will learn about the Reintegration and Civic Empowerment (RACE) Act, No Representation Without Population Act, why these policies matter, and how staying connected with people inside is an important part of building a more just and representative democracy. The letters will share information about these policies, encourage civic engagement, and remind people inside prison that they have a community on the outside fighting alongside them.

This event is a collaboration between Chicago Votes and CHANGE Illinois Action Fund, bringing together community members to learn, take action, and build collective power through advocacy.

What to expect:
* Learn about the RACE Act and the No Representation Without Population Act
* Write advocacy letters
* Connect with community members and partner organizations
* Community-building and conversation
* Light refreshments

Our annual fashion show celebrates Chicago-based models and designers while proving that fashion can be a powerful tool for storytelling, advocacy, and change.

Every year, Chicago Votes hosts and produces a fashion show through our creative collective, Give A Sh*t Chicago (GAS). GAS brings together Chicago creatives to use art, fashion, and culture to inspire civic engagement, strengthen community, and amplify young voices. Our annual fashion show celebrates Chicago-based models and designers while proving that fashion can be a powerful tool for storytelling, advocacy, and change.

Now we’re looking for bold, confident, and expressive models to walk in this year’s show! Whether it’s your first runway or your tenth, we want to see your confidence, personality, and presence.

✨ We welcome models of all backgrounds, sizes, genders, and experience levels.

📍 Casting Location:
The location will be included when our production team sends out the email informing candidates of the date and time for their casting slot.

📅 Casting Dates:
• Thursday, July 23 | 6:00–8:00 PM
• Sunday, July 26 | 11:00 AM–1:00 PM

⚠️ Before attending casting, you MUST complete the Model Casting Google Form (link in bio). Completing the application is required to secure your casting opportunity.
