Electric shower replacement , small job fitted in this week

We carry out a lot of temporary building connections , this time a kitchen waste into a manhole with trench dug for pipe to prevent a trip hazard

Heating upgrade and maintenance work carried out at the care home . Drain down and removal of old LST ( low surface temperature)radiators . Then a two day power flush and clean of the system before installing new LST radiators , refill adding inhibitor to the system

Another awkward job today , customers shower tray had cracked , therefore it was a matter of removing the cubicle, get the shower tray out , remove the old wooden raised platform , install a new Merlyn 800quadrant tray and riser kit , alter the waste and refit the enclosure . Rewarding job in the end

Not a normal job last few days . Due to customer building an extension the existing boiler needed to be removed so a wall could be knocked down , therefore they requested if it could be moved to the loft gable end out of the way from building work so relocation on ! Drain down , new horizontal flue kit , new pipework running around edge of loft and temporary piped back in to give customer continued hot water during all the construction process

Another boiler installation today
Customer fed up with constant problems with their old Worcester, another blocked and scaled up heat exchanger , numerous issues in the past so out with the old in with the new Navien NCB300 28KW combi and new EPH CPv2 wireless programmable room stat . Also the addition of a boiler mag on cold mains and magna clean

Well there are still a number of old systems out there ! This heating system had an old potterton profile boiler , no controls just a Drayton thermostat on the hot water coil , no room stat , old galvanised tanks in loft , old copper cylinder without factory lagging and as you can see when all ripped out the airing cupboard was bare brick and a void under the bath ! , so time for an upgrade! Out with the old , convert to a new Navien NCB300 28KW combi boiler , re plumb the bath and remove the old pumped chowed , make good with new tiles and fit a new thermostatic bar shower . Ply and plasterboard the airing cupboard c put in radiator and an electric heater for the summer months when heating isn’t on . , one small hick up , drilling through the gas pipe which was in the wall , very unusual place for it to be but managed to get a repair and insulate it before making goo and re tiling . Busy few days but all done

Refurbished bathroom at care home ready for new resident to move in . New shower and basin , and wet room drainage installed . Waste pipe ready for the bath /shower trolley

Single sanispeed installed in a laundry room basement , extra sanispeed macerator installed in tandem to share the workload

Small unvented cylinder installation in loft space , direct immersion heater as property is electric only .
