Our first 10U tournament is officially in the books! 🥎
Through a long day and three games, these girls never stopped showing up for one another. No matter the score or the inning, they were lined up along the edge of the dugout, cheering, encouraging and staying locked in together. That’s what being a team is all about!
IB Game Hype Award Winners 🔥
Game 1: Morgan Basala-Morgan was called upon to pitch in the middle of an inning after an injury. She stepped onto the mound, took control and helped lift her teammates during a tough moment.
Game 2: Ellie Poore-Ellie made several great plays at shortstop and brought the energy as a vocal leader in the dugout—pushing and challenging her teammates all game long.
Game 3: Ava Hudson-Ava was an absolute wall at third base, stopping several hard-hit balls. She also continued to lift up her teammates, visiting the circle and helping our pitchers regroup when they were getting tired.
💪 Ironbridge Strong Award: Morgan Basala-This award recognizes an outstanding player and teammate throughout the entire tournament. Morgan earned it by stepping onto the mound when her team needed her and consistently helping everyone stay confident, focused and locked in.
We’re learning. We’re growing. We’re getting better. And I’ll take this group of girls any day! Proud of these girls and excited for what’s ahead. Now we turn our focus to next weekend’s tournament.
