Kids Run Trains Kids Run Trains inspires the next generation by putting the throttle in kids’ hands.

Through hands-on fun, family connection, and Lionel model trains, we spark creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of trains. KRT is a model train club effort focused on introducing the hobby to families through interactive and hands-on exhibits. KRT will provide educational opportunities related to the hobby to groups such as the Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, or Girl Scouts or through an after school enrichment program with Southeastern Elementary School in Chesapeake

Why KRT?
-Because running trains is fun!
-Promotes the growth of the hobby
-Reconnects adults with their childhood memories
-There is no group in Hampton Roads that specifically address kids
