It is always fascinating to watch how brave horses can be when they are allowed to explore new things at their own volition.
The beauty of working with our horses at liberty, in their home means they can walk away whenever they decide they are done.
Trooper is always game for some fun, and is now very much enjoying the cool blast from the leaf blower.
It’s that time of year where the trees are dropping their fruit, and the ponies have shown us they are quite tasty, but they do not need all of that extra sugar, so every morning we use the leaf blower to blow the fallen berries back out of the field.
This has proven to be quite a nice training opportunity! Some of the herd members are still wary, while the others (like Trooper) seem pretty unimpressed with the big loud air machine.
