Mad. City FC had a weekend to remember as three of the club’s youth teams traveled to compete in the Mt. Hood Challenge, Oregon’s largest sanctioned soccer tournament, held Aug. 7–9.

Mad City FC proudly represented the Madras community at the Bend Premier Cup, with five teams battling their way to impressive second place finishes during one of Central Oregon’s premier youth soccer tournaments.

What a weekend for Mad City FC.

We brought five teams to one of the toughest tournaments in the region: U16, U13, U12, U11, and U9. Every team competed with heart, represented our community with pride, and showed how much our club continues to grow.

A huge congratulations to our U16, U13, and U9 teams for battling their way to the championship matches and earning 2nd Place finishes. Falling just short of a title never defines a team. The determination, teamwork, and resilience these players showed all weekend are what truly matter.

To our U12 and U11 squads, we’re just as proud of you. Not every tournament ends with a medal, but every match is another step forward in your development. Keep working, keep believing, and your time will come.

Thank you to our coaches, families, volunteers, and supporters for everything you do behind the scenes. Your commitment is what makes Mad City FC special.

This weekend proved one thing: Mad City FC belongs. We’re building something special, and we’re only getting started.

U9 with another win, our younger squad just punched their ticket to the finals!

Tough game for our U11 and U12s. We’ll get them tomorrow!

We finish the day off with a strong finish by our U17 boys. 1-0 against the Soccer Chance Academy. Excellent finish by Yari. Time to get some well earned rest because tomorrow we have a tough road ahead of us
