This past weekend, we battled our way to a 5-0-1 record at the PGF Super Grand Futures in Dallas, GA, finishing as one of the Final Four teams remaining before the tournament was unfortunately called due to rain.

This group has shown incredible growth throughout the season. After working through the challenges that every team faces, these girls have put together an amazing stretch, winning 23 of their last 27 games with one tie mixed in.

The improvement from the beginning of the season to where we are today has been remarkable. More importantly, these young ladies have learned how to compete, support one another, overcome adversity, and play the game the right way.

The work isn't finished yet. We have two tournaments left, and we're excited to see what this team can accomplish as we look to finish the season strong.

Runner-up at the Jim Frost Memorial Tournament yesterday! Out of 37 talented 12U teams, this group competed hard all weekend and finished 6-1. So proud of what these girls accomplished together.

We picked up a huge win against a very good Bandits team and battled all the way to the end in the championship game. Both teams were exhausted after a long hot weekend and we came up just one run short in a back-and-forth battle. We just couldn’t make enough plays to finish it, but we can’t let one tough loss take away from an outstanding weekend of softball.

The bats were hot all tournament long as this team finished with a .436 team batting average. More importantly, the girls showed toughness, resilience, and great teamwork every game.

We’ll take this weekend off, recharge, and get ready for the 12U PGF Super Select Championship in Columbia. Proud of this team and excited for what’s ahead!

So proud of this team and everything they accomplished this weekend! They went undefeated (8-0)! Every player contributed, and this group continues to prove what can happen when hard work, toughness, and teamwork all come together.

The girls stayed focused, supported each other, and found ways to win in every game situation. The growth this team has shown has been incredible, and it was awesome watching them compete all weekend long. We are a much different team than we were a month ago. Defense has improved tremendously and their confidence in pressure moments is so much better!

A huge thank you to all of our moms for spending Mother’s Day weekend at the ballpark cheering, traveling, and supporting these girls every step of the way. We appreciate everything you do behind the scenes that makes moments like this possible.

We built this team from the ground up this past fall and added some key pieces this spring. They have faced some adversity, and we’ve had to learn what it really takes to win.

Our Friday night pool games were rough. We didn’t play our best softball and it showed.

But Saturday was a different story. This group started to gel and really responded! They locked in on defense, got the pitching we needed, and started doing the little things it takes to win close games. Competing against strong teams, they were 4-2 in bracket play and finished Top 6 in a PGF Super Select event. In our last game, we couldn’t get enough clutch hits and left too many runners on base.

We aren’t satisfied, but so proud of the fight, the growth, and the way they bounced back. This is what building a team looks like. Love the chemistry of this group! Better together! 💪🥎
