1974 Harley Z90. Fun little project. I’ve now painted 3 or 4 bikes for this customer from Wisconsin. See this tank (along with other display pieces I’ll have in my booth) at the Barber Vintage Festival in Birmingham, Alabama in early October. If you enjoy vintage motorcycles, and you have not been to that facility and that show, you don’t know what you’re missing!

1974 Ducati 750 Sport for a customer from Lewes, DE. I’ve painted a few of these before for Mike and Kandy at Vintage Desmo (you can google them to see some amazing vintage Ducati builds!). Coming down the homestretch. Still need to add the “Made in Italy” decal and final clear the tank and side-covers.

This tank was originally painted many years ago by Ken Holt, who was (as I understand it) widely regarded as the “go to” guy for BMW paint. From what I gather, he’s pretty much phased out and retired at this point. This customer reached out to me after damaging this tank that was on his bike. I’ve painted dozens of these R90s over the last 8 years or so (this certainly isn’t my first rodeo dealing with painting R90’s!) but I thought y’all might like to see some pictures of the process.
