6 Weeks of Discipline ππΎππΎ
I am soooo proud of Amanda and the progress she has made within 6 weeks! She has a background in dance however, she informed me that it has been years since she has been physically active. As a result, she wanted a Personal Trainer who could help to get her started.
Throughout her training program, she gained a lot of knowledge that would help her when she trains on her own. π«±πΎβπ«²πΌ
This is a reminder that great things can happen in 6 weeks. You just have to make the time, invest in your health and show up. I believed that she could do great things, and I believe you can too! ππΎππΎ

Training Program Complete! βοΈ
Due to my results in May, I decided to repeat my 12-weeks full body program. Yet again, Iβm proud of myself for being disciplined and not missing any of my 36 training days (3-day split). As a result, I regained some weight and grew stronger. πͺπΎβ¨
As I have mentioned before, the job is not done. Bulking season is officially here, so now itβs time to start my next program! π
As always, ! β¨
Love yβall, Dee βπΎπ

Upper Body Day may be my clients least favorite however, she is growing stronger and also learning the importance of why you should train your upper body regularly. ππΎππΎππΎππΎ

Many of you are aware that I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Flag Football Coach and Athlete however, in honor of National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD), let me give you all a brief glimpse of my athletic background and why I say this is my lifestyle.
-
At the age of 7, I began playing coed basketball for The Bomb Squad at Albemarle Road Rec. Center. While attending James Martin Middle, I played basketball and I also started playing soccer. During the off season I played AAU basketball for The Charlotte Stars and later, The Charlotte Monarchs (not pictured).
-
While attending West Charlotte High School (The Dub) π¦β₯οΈ, I played basketball, soccer and volleyball year round. During my senior year, my team made school history by being the first womenβs basketball team to win a state championship. πππΎ Special shoutout to my favorite cousin and teammates who are doing great things as Womenβs High School and College Basketball Coaches! ππΎππΎ
-
While attending WSSU πβ₯οΈ, I finally began playing rec. flag football (not pictured). I have been playing in leagues and tournaments in and outside of my home city since.
-
Sports have been a part of my life for years and it has blessed me not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. From learning the importance of being positive, to the importance of hard work and consistency. Special thank you to my Daddy/Coach for introducing me to basketball at a young age. As a result, I am now able to teach and coach young athletes. ππΎ

To the girls, young ladies and women in sports, letβs continue doing great things by breaking barriers, making history and inspiring those who are watching us! ππΎβ¨
