Where do I begin? We played 10 games (5 back to back on Sunday) in 86 degrees weather with 11 ladies (some already nursing injuries). I think that’s a good starting point. These ladies keep amazing me! When you are playing in those elements and you have time to laugh at yourself (queue the chorus: Ahhh Toot Toot
Ahhh beep beep), it tells you a lot about the ladies in this family.

The outfield shined as bright as the sun did. They held it down! Not an easy task when you are running all those balls down, throwing runners out and then your coach ask you to be a courtesy runner. I am still getting looks lol. I appreciate ya for real! As a team we put on a hitting clinic. Hit it and pass it back was in full effect

I hate to say “we didn’t finish as we wanted”. The bracket may say we were 3rd of 18 teams but my book says we went out like champs (just ran out of gas).

Special shout out to the supporters!!! They sat in that sun and encouraged the hell out of us!!! LOL. They some MVP's!
