Missing a few of our moms but they were there in spirit. What a wonderful Mother’s Day!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department with the devastating events that happened yesterday afternoon. There are 4 families who lost loved ones yesterday.

One of our former coaches is a CMPD officer and we have parent former law enforcement officers our team now. We even had the pleasure a couple years ago to record a video supporting our officers in blue at CMPD. We are devastated with yesterday’s events and ask you to all lift them and their families in prayer.

Officer Joshua Eyer has passed away tonight from his injuries after being shot in the line of duty this afternoon while assisting other officers with the apprehension of a suspect. Officer Eyer faithfully served the CMPD’s North Tryon Division for six years and was a member of the 178th Recruit Class. We are forever indebted to Officer Eyer for his bravery and ultimate sacrifice. His life and service will never be forgotten. Please say a prayer for Officer Eyer’s loved ones during this difficult time.

ECU baseball player appears in game with prosthetic leg after boating accident Byrd nearly lost his life in that accident. He had 22 surgeries and battled back to the diamond with the ECU baseball program to become the first NCAA division-I baseball player to play in a game with a prosthetic leg.

We had a great, but rainy Spring 11u season and are so proud of ALL of our teammates! It was fitting that it rained out our last games of the season this weekend. The boys still came home with the Championship!
