Working in 4K Cinema has resulted in 2 of our computer's processors to overheat. Today we're editing a pilot for a new television series in an archaic format called HD. Do they still make HD television sets? 🤣

Using other people's footage is kind of like sawing up wood with a chainsaw. It may take a few minutes to cut it but several days to clean it up.

17 cameras from all over the world was used in our last corporate training video. (not all our cameras) Our eyes are watering. Not from the emotion that was captured but from the editing! Finished a music video this week also and next we're working on a documentary and 2 regional television commercials. Busy times at EMG Orlando!

Be cautious when purchasing used video cams. Was it used to capture the eclipse? We saw one yesterday that had a damaged sensor, undoubtedly the result from aiming at the sun for an extended time. The chips are much better than the old tubes but unless you have a solar filter you still should not aim it at the sun.

You must perform well under pressure, be a self starter and handle occasional intense temperament from fellow workers." Just wow. Doesn't that job sound appealing? By the way, it's for a Director of Production position with a tv station. It's great they're honest but sounds like a great place to get an ulcer. Perhaps they should invest in workplace training before they add someone else.
