Happy birthday to my beautiful WIFE! 💍🎂

You are so amazing and not a day go by that you don’t remind me of every reason that I married you. I’m so excited for the life we are building together and the things to come. ❤️

How do you tell mobility is getting better?

A lot of people get frustrated with their progress when working on mobility. Is slow, grueling, and challenging. There isn’t as much visual progress like with weight loss but that doesn’t mean you won’t notice the progress.

The biggest things I look for in my clients when we are working mobility:

Do you have less pain in the areas/joints we are working on? If yes, progress.

Can you get connected to the muscles we are trying to work on better or faster? If yes, progress.

Do you see an improvement in your range of motion? If yes, then progress.

Like I said, you might not see the progress the same way as other goals, but don’t let that make you think it’s not working. Too many people are walking around with mobility issues stopping them from seeing the results they want.

My clients often see that pain reduction and better muscular activation pretty fast. This helps up in our strength training to be able to hit those strength or muscle building goals all without having those painful set backs. And if we do have set backs, we assess, modify approach, and keep chugging along.

The only way to stop progress is to stop. So don’t stop!

This last month has been such a ride before we even get to the big day and there is no one else on earth I’d rather be on it with than

We had a beautiful wedding shower than allowed us to have our favorite people in one place. It was phenomenal and I’m so grateful for Cori’s family putting it on for us.

Then I got to have the boys down to Savannah for my bachelor trip… what a time.

And not to mention buying a new house all in the middle of it because why not do it all at once 🤷🏻‍♂️

Life is good. Training is busy. Content is slacking. But that’s the season of life we are in. Don’t worry I’ll have mobility and training content coming again soon but for now here are some fun pics from a couple weekends.

Mobility 🤝🏻 Strength

Not seeing progress with your mobility? You could be stopping your progress by not following these steps.

Thinking of mobility as just stretching can limit how much progress you make. However it is a huge part of the process when it comes to building and expanding range of motion.

Strength, activation, and body awareness are some of the aspects that most people forget about when it comes to mobility. These will be where you see the most improvement happen.

Strength without mobility is a disaster waiting to happen.

Most people continue to only focus on strength as they get older and then wonder why they can’t touch their toes or get their arms fully over head. That is because there is a lack of focus around mobility.

Without working in proper mobility, there are a lot of gaps in our movement that will limit strength or keep those nagging injuries around.

Having a program that combines strength and mobility allows you to strength train and see continuous progress while getting the joint health benefits of mobility training that will keep you out of the doctors office.

Thankful but ready for the next chapter 🙏🏽

Longer post but thanks if you read it.

2025 was a year full of some really high highs and some really low lows.

I got to propose to my best friend to start our lives together but shortly after we lost her dad unexpectedly, which rocked everything. It did show me that I picked the right one to marry though seeing how graceful she has handled the loss and through it all her family has still made me feel like family too.

2025 was a great year for my personal training business but at a cost of my own fitness sometimes 🫠 you know the old saying, “the cobblers kids don’t have shoes.” Hi, it’s me, I’m cobbler.

I’m actually very grateful for the challenges that came in 2025 bc I have started diving in my faith in Jesus more than I have ever in my life. I’ve always been a Luke-warm Christian as they say but with certain personal and global events, it has spiked my desire to learn and grow with Jesus at the center and even though I’m still early on in my journey learning and leaning in, I am grateful that he accepts the broken and misguided even when they don’t feel worthy.

2026 is going to be the best year yet. Marrying my best friend with all our favorite people around us, building our life together with God at the center, and growing my business in ways I can’t even imagine right now.

2026 will be the year of really figuring out a scalable online training business that lets me reach more people and help like I have with my in person clients for 10 years. More scalable means more people helped with their mobility, strength, and kicking old injuries.
It will also be the year I finally get my ankle fixed and will put my knowledge to the test on myself. So in a weird way looking forward to that journey.

If you read this far I’m grateful for you. I haven’t been consistent on my content the last few months but going to get back in the groove of showing people the things that changed my training and approach by giving you some great mobility content, some funny stuff, life stuff, and overall showing a bit more of me so that you know it’s coming from a real place.

My sweet Peggy dog turned 3 yesterday! 🥳

The goofiest girl, full of energy and sass. I can’t imagine how life would be without the fun and chaos you bring.

The past year has been big for her. She gained a sister and a mom that I’m so thankful for. She is the best little fur ball I could ask for.

6 months until I get to say I do with the love of my life ❤️

I get to do life with my favorite person everyday and it really does keep getting better.
