Hey all! Many of you know, we started trying to adopt a baby (we are looking for less than 6 months old) through one of the foster care agencies, but decided that was not for us. They didn't seem to care an iota about us as parents, and just wanted to throw money at us. Adoptions through an agency cost upwards of $36,000. (don't get me started!!!) I'd much rather spend that ON the baby once they are here.

We are now looking at adoption through the DSS system. In the meantime, the one thing people keep saying is - there are so many people out there that would prefer a private adoption...you just have to find the right person that is looking for a family for their baby. I think that's very true...but how to find them? Soooo...lets see what this huge world of FB can do. Everyone knows people who know people who know people...PLEASE keep us in mind if you know of or hear of someone that is looking for an adoptive family. I can promise you - there would never be a child more loved. Feel free to share and spread this through as many people as you can reach!
