Spring fair is here! Join us for a revitalizing day dedicated to easing back pain naturally and holistically.
Start with a beginner friendly yoga session designed to release tension in the back, hips and hamstrings, strengthen core and improve the posture( wear loose comfortable clothing, and bring a mat), hear from experts in chiropractic care and functional wellness, followed by demos on anti inflammatory cooking. Moms, I hope you had a wonderful Mothers Day celebration. Being a mother is not easy, no matter what age your child is. Mindfulness practices have helped me deepen my relationship with my children, by being more compassionate, and present to the needs of my children as well as myself. Parenting in todays world is challenging indeed, with fights about use of technology, peer pressure and many more issues. But through all this we must remember that our children don't need to be fixed, they need to be understood and loved. I invite you to join me in my upcoming workshop, where I teach some mindful parenting skills.

Pranayama or yogic breathing techniques are powerful practices to heal the body and the mind. Pranayama is good for the digestive system, circulatory system, lymphatic system, nervous system and the endocrine system, and therefore, there are multiple benefits, from addressing blood pressure, digestive issues, to managing stress and anxiety. Brenda(in the picture above) is practicing Anulom-Vilom pranayama, also called Alternate Nostril Breathing, which has a calming effect on the nervous system, relieves anxiety and improves concentration. In the workshop on Wednesday we will discuss the benefits of different pranayama techniques, and practice 2 techniques. We will also practice mindfulness meditation. The combination of the two practices will leave the participant in a state of deep relaxation and peace. The workshop will be held at Integra Wellness Center on Wednesday March 27 from 5-7, and will have several presenters. Check out details on their fb page IntegraWellnessCenter
