💔 In Loving Memory of Joe Farrell

Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to Joe Farrell, beloved co-founder of FutsalRVA. Joe’s passion was simple yet powerful—to bring our community together through the beautiful game of futsal.

Joe believed that futsal could unite kids from different backgrounds and clubs, giving them a platform to play together and represent RVA with pride at both the local and national level. But beyond the sport, Joe was a beacon of love and acceptance. He saw no barriers—no matter one’s gender, race, or economic status—everyone was welcome in his circle.

His true gift was making kids smile and using futsal to teach life lessons that extend far beyond the field. Joe wasn’t just respected locally; his impact was felt across the nation.

You will be truly missed, Joe. Thank you for your vision, passion and most of all, your friendship. FutsalRVA will forever include your legacy.

Rest in peace, mate. You were nothing but love. 💙🙏🏽

Beyond thrilled. One of the 2020 day 1 North students who has been a committed and consistent mentee through and through. A young 11 year old with a big dream and he put in the work. Part of our Charlotte 2nd generation and the Norths First generation. He is another one of our 2026 graduate mentees who believed in the process, left his ego at the door and went all in. You would see him at 16, ready to train in whatever age group class was available, and he has been a big brother to many our younger students. Congrats, young man.

Full day camp so it doesn’t disrupt yours. 3.5 hours of structured and professionally guided technical instruction and 3.5 hours of small sided match play. Not ideal for beginners. Players should be ready to work and have fun!

Excited to announce Mentor Javen to the coaching staff! Currently with our local Jacks, he has been with LA Galaxy, Chivas and time on the Mexican Youth National Team. Excited to have his energy in the training pitch.
