Workouts have moved to Friday this week. We are still looking for 1 or 2 more players to complete a team. We have a great group of girls with some of the best attitudes and drive I have seen. So tonight I stepped back on the floor as Coach Mike. Starting a new era of the SLAMMERS. It reminded me of so much, the biggest thing though was the look in the girls eyes, the hunger, and the thirst for knowledge. They were locked in the whole time, they gave everything they had the whole time, they wanted to learn and get better. As a coach you cant ask for more. I am so excited to see where we go, and to see how they grow. Stanly county girls basketball has dropped off but, we are about to turn that around. This is what I was meant to do. This is my calling. It took some hard knocks to realize it , but you learn as you grow. With that being said. BLAME NO ONE, EXCEPT NOTHING, DO SOMETHING, NO EXCUSES
