LKN Krakens

It's been a fun week for LKN Krakens Green! It started off with a Silver Bracket Championship on Sunday and finished up with a Silver bracket Championship under the lights on Friday night.

Friday the team went 2-1 led by a potent offense and playing solid defense. M. Foor led the way batting 1.000 including a go ahead 2 RBI triple that secured the championship win. S. Webber and E. Fauth each batted .667, and T. Riddle and A. Schwinn each hit .500. T. Riddle, B. Paxton, and T. Medlin each added their own triples, and C. Johnson had a no error in the park HR on a ball she hammered into the left field corner.

Not only did M. Foor and S. Webber lead the team in batting, they also did a great job keeping opposing batters guessing at the plate. The combo only gave up 5 earned runs and 7 runs total over 3 games.

M. Foor earned an MVP for her excellent performance, an impressive job from the young player!

LKN Krakens Green brought home a silver championship Sunday, going 3-1 on the day.

The team battled hard all day and there were many great moments. Some standout performances were T. Riddle finishing with a .750 batting average, S. Webber following with a .667, E. Fauth going .600, and A. Schwinn at .500.

E. Gable earned an MVP for her sound defense and solid offensive work, and E. Fauth earned an MVP for her performance including a walk off triple to lock up the Championship.

The team continues to grow and improve, and it's showing with their performance during tournaments!

LKN Krakens Mathews is moving up to 12U for the fall season and looking to add dedicated athletes to the family.

LKN Krakens Johnson 12u took home ANOTHER championship last weekend at NSA. The team put up 33 runs on the day in 4 games while only allowing 8. They also sealed the day with a Shut Out! Congratulations Krakens Johnson on a successful and impressive weekend!
