Comets 12U-McMillan

FOUR in a ROW!!! The Comets have played the last four weeks straight and for the past four weeks, have came home GOLD BRACKET CHAMPIONS 🥇. They seeded #1 overall today giving up 0 runs in pool play. They ended up playing a very tough Phoenix Fastpitch 10U Rowell team the past two weeks for the championship. Those little ladies always give us a tough game and should be very proud of all they have accomplished this season.

It started out cold but turned into a beautiful day for the Winter Nationals Championship tournament. The girls played hard going 4-0 on the day. They played some really tough teams today but managed to come out on top. Seeded #3 overall landing them in the Gold bracket. After two hard fought bracket games, they came away Gold Bracket Champions!

Another productive Saturday on the field the girls worked hard this week and left it all out there again this week. They went 3.5-.5 on the day after winning the first pool game and then ended up tied in the second one. They seeded #2 overall in the Gold bracket. They went on to win both bracket games crowing them the Gold Bracket champions for the second week in a row! 🎉🎉

So proud of these girls for what they accomplished today. They finished the day 4-0, seeding #1 overall going on to win the Gold Bracket Championship! Everyone contributed to an amazing day of softball. All their hard work at practice this week showed on the field today and we couldn’t be more proud!

We want to send a huge shout out to our two MVP’s from today’s tournament. Congratulations to Lainey and Kaylee. You both are very deserving for the work you put in today on the field!

Today Comets 12U-McMillan took a ride up 85 to the Triad to play in Pink Out tournament. The day started off rough but the girls pulled it together to win their first bracket game sending them to the championship. It was a close one but in the last inning after adding on 2 more runs, they won 4-1 over a tough Dynamic Fastpitch Purple team

You were as amazing and fun as we had always heard you were!! The girls fought hard all weekend long against some great teams. Their hard work landed them the 6th seed and top of the Silver bracket. They won the first bracket game but came up short in the championship game. They did however bring home some hardware!

The Comets travel to Charleston this weekend to play at Shipyard Park. We hope everyone has a safe trip!
