Eight years ago Kevin Parella came through the bubble door at Blakeney to join MSA Masters. Last week we said good bye after eight years of swimming. He was an original of the lane 3 gang! He was a part of the founding group at Indian Trail as he and his wife Val worked toward building their dream home in lovely Boone, NC. We look forward to an occasional visit! Keep in touch!

MSA Masters....your newest teammate.....Anthony Butler. Anthony is also a member of the Para Guide program here in Charlotte.Anthony is blind, but this does not stop him in his athletic pursuits. He runs a lot.....a ton. This year he ran the Boston Marathon and then the New York Marathon. He wants to do a 70.3 and because he needs to swim roughly 1800 yards, we are working together to make this dream come true. I proud to be a part of this journey! Not only have I gained a really hood athlete. I have a new friend!

These two newcomers to MSA Masters have done a fantastic job....together. Josie Ivan and Steve Waters started together in the Nemo lane learning air flow management....step one how to blow bubbles. Wednesday they did their first set of intervals....850 yards of intervals. They also have learned backstroke and are investigating breaststroke. Coach is very proud of you both! Your swim journey has just begun!
