Amazing turnout for our 2nd annual Fall Classic. Windy and cold, but that didn’t stop the teams from showing up. A special thanks to our vendors and our host, Most importantly, thanks to all of our guests we were able to send 1,047 lbs of food over to the Second Harvest Food Bank!! We love making turf grow, but we love impacting our community even more. ™

While we make our way through the dog days of summer, it’s easy to look down and barrel straight ahead, without giving much thought to what’s to come. Planning and preparation, big parts of our successes. Weeds are going crazy, seed season is almost here, leaves are coming, but let’s not forget about these little legs of destruction. For those struggling with your warm season turf (yes, I’m talking to everyone), here is a snapshot of the weather from last June. This time last year we had already had 7 days over 90° for the month. Fast forward to 2023, and we’ve had only 1 during the month of June. Soil temps are down about an average of 5° YOY. Patience is needed, only Mother Nature can help us.

In honor of those who serve, and sacrifice, today is for you. From our family to yours, Happy Memorial Day.
