I’m grateful to be competing in the Bassmaster Kayak Series alongside the QCKBF tournament down on the legendary Santee Cooper Lakes this weekend.

First off, a massive thank you to my amazing family for allowing me to spend my birthday weekend out on the water competing on the national trail. Your support is appreciated!

💼 To all of my clients: Even though I’m enjoying my birthday weekend, my business is fully covered by Caroline and a fellow agent while I’m away. Trust me when I say you are in excellent hands and completely taken care of!

This is going to be a heavy-hitting weekend. As of right now, there are 214 registered anglers, meaning I’ll be sharing the water with the absolute best kayak anglers in the country. Also, unlike our normal one-day events, this is a full Saturday and Sunday grind.

Quick note for those following along on the leaderboards: Queen City is running a 4-fish limit, but Bassmaster is a 5-fish limit. That will explain the difference in the bag sizes you see!

I’m really hoping this weather pushes out so we can have a beautiful weekend. Santee Cooper is just one of those places—you can either have the absolute best day you’ve ever had on the water, or it will humble you very quickly.

Sign on building says bicycles we are in the process of getting that taken down!
