The longer I coach, the more I realize that success and long term health usually isn't about knowing more or even doing more a lot of the time.

It's about making things simpler.

Simpler meals.

Simpler grocery lists.

Simpler routines.

Simpler decisions.

Most people don't need a "better" plan.
The one that optimized to the mother effing max .

They need a plan that's easier to repeat.
That's actually curated for their real life.

Because the best nutrition strategy isn't the one that's perfect.

It's the one you can still do when life gets busy and s**t hits the fan.

I think people massively underestimate how much decision fatigue impacts their nutrition.

When every meal requires you to figure out what sounds good, what fits your goals, what you have in the house, what you need to prep, and what you have time for... nutrition starts feeling like a full-time job.

One thing I notice over and over with successful clients is that they simplify.

Not because they're obsessed with eating the same foods.

Because they've realized they don't need to make 50 food decisions every day.

They find meals they enjoy, keep staple foods stocked, have a few restaurant orders they know fit their goals, and repeat those things often.

Not to mention... it makes prelogging a helllll of a lot easier!!

Wew could also say the same when it comes to your training but thats a post for another day here!

Nutrition gets a ffffff-ton easier when you stop trying to make every meal a brand new top of the line culinary experience. Some meals can be that, but some meals can just be a freaking meal to fuel you and give you energy.

Which do you struggle with more:

A) Knowing what to do

B) Actually doing it consistently

Drop A or B below.

One of the biggest misconceptions in healt and fitness is that results come from finding the perfect plan.

Having the perfect macros.
Or some magical workout split.
The right supplement or nowadays the right peptides.
Some crazy complicated morning routine.

In reality, most people already know the basics.
They know they should prioritize protein.
They know they should strength train.
They know they should walk more, sleep more, and eat more fiber.

The problem isn't a lack of information.
The problem is execution.

Because none of those habits are difficult when motivation is high.

They're difficult when work gets busy.
When the kids get sick.
When you're traveling.
When you're stressed.
When you're tired.

That's why I spend far less time helping clients find the "perfect" plan and far more time helping them build one they can actually follow.

Something built for THEM and their REAL LIFE.
Our clients live in the real world and we give them REAL word plans.. not plans they have to be single, anti-social and sacrifice all the things tat make life joyful for!! (I'll argue all day that if it requires that to be healthy, that its not healthy AT ALL)

And if this is something you've been struggling with, my DMs are open.

*Things I used to think mattered... that I barely think about anymore*

When I first got into fitness, I thought *every* *little* thing mattered.

I worried about:

❌ Missing a workout
❌ Eating dessert
❌ Not knowing how to track soemthing perfectly
❌ Going on vacation
❌ The scale being up 2 pounds
❌ Not being “sore enough”
❌ Having an “off” week
❌ Eating at a restaurant
❌ Taking a rest day

Now?

I barely think about any of those things

(and hoenstly feel bad for past rhi cus WOW i made life so much harder than it needed to be).

I’ve been in what is probably the busiest social season of my adult life.

Between travel, weddings, dinners, weekends away, bachelorette parties, hsoting friends, family events, and everything in between, past me would have been convinced I was sabotaging my goals.

Current me?

Absolutely chilling.
Because after years of my own journey and nearly a decade of coaching, I’ve learned that progress isn’t built by avoiding real life.

It’s built by learning how to navigate it.

What I care about now is actually pretty boring:

✅ Training consistently for years, not weeks
✅ Eating mainly whole foods (but not JUST, have fun ones in the mix too)
✅ Getting enough sleep
✅ Managing stress (whew, this was a big one as a biz owner)
✅ Showing up even when motivation isn’t there (cus its sure not always!!)

Most people struggle with LIFELONG health and fitness because they’re treating completely normal parts of life as if they’re setbacks.

A restaurant meal isn’t a problem.
A missed workout isn’t a problem.
A vacation isn’t a problem.

‼️Life is supposed to include those things‼️

The people who get the best results aren’t usually the most perfect.
They’re the ones who stop panicking every time life happens.

BOOM. Mic drop.

Guess my body fat % with me 👀
I’ve wanted to do a Dexa scan for SO long…
and DEXA CHS finally opened 🙌

So of course I had to go!!

They gave me a code too: RHI20 for $20 off your first scan if you’ve been curious.

But real talk, this scan is way more than just body fat.

→ bone density
→ visceral fat
→ muscle mass

Watch the video to hear my exact results but spoiler alert, I’m really happy with this. Just confirmation that I’m in a really solid place while living a balanced life that I actually enjoy and can maintain!!!

Lifting 4x/week, walking, eating like a normal human.
Spending time with my husband, friends, family.

No extremes. No crash phases.

Obviously, this level of leanness isn’t the goal for most women. This did take 10+ years of slow but steady change and consistency.

Build something actually healthy and that you can actually maintain, that’s the only way it’s worth it.

Need help creating a life you love while changing your body composition?
Shoot me a DM & I’ll see if I can help! 🤗
