🏆 CONGRATULATIONS, HUNTER BILLINGSLEY! 🏆

A huge congratulations to Hunter Billingsley on being named the All-ILB Two-Way Player of the Year!

Hunter continues to build an impressive Spuds Legacy Club résumé, earning his second straight All-ILB Team selection. 💪🥔

But Hunter’s impact goes far beyond the stat sheet. He truly embodies the Spuds culture both on and off the field. He’s a competitor, a team leader, a great teammate, and someone who has represented the Spuds organization and the Casper community the right way.

Tater Nation has been proud to call Hunter one of our own and to have him spend the past two summers right here in Casper.

Congratulations on another well-earned honor, Hunter!

Now there’s just one question left…

How about one more summer in Casper in 2027? 👀🥔

I encourage all Banana Ball fans in Wyoming…. And even all those who doubt that our town can handle this… to watch this video! This is not the only video I’ve seen from these teams, expressing joy and true fan connections by being in smaller venues!!! We watch their videos we follow their teams, we agree with their philosophy….. and we know they are trying to bring amazing entertainment to every state across the nation. We’ve been confident all along (with a few improvements and bringing in additional seating ) that Mike Lansing field is the perfect place to host Banana Ball between The Party Animals, The Texas Tailgaters, Loco Beach Coconuts, The Savannah Bananas, The Firefighters, or The Indianapolis Clowns! And for all those going to Billings today, go talk to A.J. Kirsch…talk to the players , to the cast - and tell them how much we want them to come entertain the Cowboy State too! BRING BANANA BALL TO MIKE LANSING FIELD IN 2027!!!! Jesse Cole - The Yellow Tux Guy

Ballpark selfie from Dehler Park in Billings, MT.

Capacity: 3,071 seated, and up to 6,000 if you include the berm and standing room only areas.

Smallest venue on the 2026 Banana Ball schedule.

For context, the largest crowd I’ve worked up to this point in the 18 months I’ve been with Banana Ball has been 81,000 people. And I’ve probably hosted in front of, I’m guessing, another dozen-ish crowds ranging from 36,000 to 74,000.

Maybe it’s where I’m at in my career, maybe it’s a getting older thing, but the more that time goes by, the less the numbers matter to me.

Yes, absolutely, hosting in front of sold-out crowds at Major League Baseball and college football/NFL stadiums is incredible. There is no substitue for the gravity, the energy, the towering scope, the immense noise, and the irreplacable thrill of being on a live mic in those environments and the numbers are striking when I see them.

Enter Billings, MT.

After only a game with two more to go this weekend, one phrase kept popping up over and over when chatting with fans:

“We don’t get things like this here.”

Every time I heard a fan say that to me, it landed with a little more weight than the time before it.

“We don’t get things like this here.”

Billings isn’t New York City or Orlando or Atlanta or New Orleans or Anaheim or any other city that Banana Ball has sold out. Billings doesn’t enjoy an abundance of top-tier professional sports, nor does Billings boast a venue that acts as a depndable stop for world-class entertainment.

It’s truly a gift that so many cities are clamoring to bring Banana Ball to their people, but after receiving so much gratitude from the fans in Billings during just one game, Banana Ball coming to Billings means more to these fans than I could possibly understand.

That’s more than enough motivation to find ways to over-deliver on the fan experience like never before.

“We don’t get things like this here.”

This weekend, Billings, you do. It doesn’t matter that this is a smaller ballpark, smaller crowd, or smaller town.

Numbers, schmumbers.

Let’s make some memories that will last a lifetime.
