⚠️ CASPER ATHLETES & VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🍻

Hi, SOWY-Casper families and athletes!

We’re excited to partner with Black Tooth Brewery - Casper for Community Pint Night on Thursday, September 10, from 3-10 p.m. in Casper!

🍺 Black Tooth Brewery - Casper will donate $1 from every pint sold to Special Olympics Wyoming, with proceeds benefiting the Casper program. There will also be a food truck onsite starting at 4:30 p.m., so bring your family and friends and come enjoy the evening while supporting SOWY!

We’re looking for Casper athletes and volunteers to sign up for a volunteer shift from 5–8 p.m to answer questions and talk about SOWY. If you’d like to volunteer, please sign up using the sign-up sheet linked in the comments.

Important: In order for the Casper program to receive the proceeds from this fundraiser, we need athletes and/or volunteers to staff the event from 5–8 p.m. Your help makes a direct impact on the SOWY-Casper local program!

Families and friends are encouraged to attend and support! Those under 21 are welcome on the patio but cannot enter the indoor brewery area.

Special Olympics Wyoming - Casper is offering 3 sports this fall season!

There is a bowling quota this year, so we are encouraging all athletes to try new sports since not everyone will be able to bowl at the competitions.

Practice information for bocce, bowling, and soccer is below:

Bocce
• Mondays and Thursdays at 6:00 p.m.
• Mike Sedar Park, first pavilion
• First practice: Thursday, August 27

As we switch gears into the fall season, SOWY–Casper Red Dragon Soccer is back! ⚽

Practice starts this Tuesday, August 4, and will be held every Tuesday from 6:00–7:30 p.m. at WYO Sports Ranch (1887 Champions Blvd., Casper).

Whether you're returning to the team or joining us for the first time, we can't wait to see you on the field! 🤩

⛳ Golf: Tee times have been sent to Deb Roman. If you don't know your tee time yet, please check with Deb.

🎳 Bowling:

Morning Session (9:00 a.m.): All Doubles teams
Afternoon Session (1:00 p.m.): Singles and Ramp bowlers

Please arrive at your competition venue at least 30 minutes before your scheduled start time. This will give you plenty of time to check in, find your competition area, and be ready when competition begins.

With Summer Sports Classic just a couple of weeks away, practices for Fall Area Games (September) and State Fall Tournament (October 7-9) will be starting soon, and registration is now open.

If you would like to compete in the fall season, please fill out the interest form linked below so you can get connected with your team to start practicing! Please share this information with anyone else who might be interested.

Sports offered for the Casper team for the 2026 fall season
• Bowling
• Bocce (TBD)
• Cycling (TBD)
• Soccer

Athletes are limited to one sport at Fall Tournament. The only exception is that athletes may compete in both Bocce and Cycling.

Bocce and cycling are still TBD. We are polling how much interest there is to build a team. There are no guarantees that there will be one.
