VALOR BASEBALL | CAL RIPKEN STATE TOURNAMENT

What a weekend it was for Valor Baseball! Our teams competed with heart, determination, and pride, representing Casper and the Valor family at the 2026 Cal Ripken State Tournament.

🏆 12U - Alsager put together an outstanding tournament run, finishing 5-0 and earning the title of 2026 Cal Ripken 12U State Champions. The team outscored opponents 62-13 over five games, capped off by a championship victory over Valor 12U Moore.

🥈 12U - Moore battled through a tough bracket to earn a spot in the championship game, finishing State Runner-Up. After opening the tournament with a win over the CYB Allstars, they bounced back from an early loss to Alsager with consecutive victories before meeting their Valor teammates again in the title game.

🥈 10U - Cabrera also had an incredible weekend, finishing 4-2 to claim the 10U State Runner-Up trophy. The team earned impressive wins over the Mustangs Gold, Casper Breeze (twice), and Mustangs Blue before falling short in the championship game against the Cheyenne Hawks, after a hard-fought tournament run.

From championship celebrations to runner-up finishes, this weekend showcased what Valor Baseball is all about—competing with passion, supporting one another, and continuing to grow on and off the field.

Congratulations to 12U - Alsager, your 2026 State Champions, 12U - Moore, State Runner-Up, and 10U - Cabrera, State Runner-Up. We couldn’t be more proud of the effort, commitment, and resilience every player, coach, and family displayed throughout the tournament.

The hard work, dedication, and resilience these players have shown all season are paying off. Every inning is another opportunity to compete, improve, and represent Valor Baseball with pride.

What a Great Morning at the Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo Parade!

What a blast we had this morning at the Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo Parade in downtown Casper!

Our Valor Baseball players had an incredible time representing the program, waving to the crowd, handing out candy, spraying water, tossing water balloons, and helping everyone stay cool on a warm summer morning. The smiles, laughs, and community spirit made it a day to remember!

A huge thank you to our players, families, coaches, volunteers, and everyone who came out to support us. We love being part of a community that celebrates together and supports our athletes!

See You at the Parade, Casper!

Valor Baseball is excited to be part of the Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo Parade as we celebrate this year’s theme, “Celebrating America’s Spirit!”

Tomorrow, our athletes will proudly walk through Downtown Casper, representing more than just baseball. They’ll be representing teamwork, sportsmanship, community, and the values that make Valor Baseball special.

Bring your family, wear your red, white, and blue, and help us cheer on all of the incredible parade participants. Be sure to wave as the Valor players pass by with some water or a sweet treat —we can’t wait to celebrate with our amazing community!

We’re grateful for every player, parent, coach, volunteer, and fan who makes the Valor family what it is. Whether you’re at the ballpark, around the barbecue, or watching fireworks with loved ones, we hope your day is filled with pride, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

As we celebrate our nation’s independence, we’re reminded that the values of hard work, teamwork, perseverance, and service are what help build champions.

⚔️ A Huge Thank You to Coach Dean Clower! ⚔️

The Valor 10U team would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Coach Dean Clower of the University of Wyoming Women’s Tennis program and 12U Laramie Regulators Assistant Coach, for giving our players an unforgettable tour of the University of Wyoming athletics facilities.

Your hospitality, generosity, and willingness to spend time with our young athletes gave them a firsthand look at what it takes to compete at the collegiate level. Experiences like this inspire our players to continue working hard, setting goals, and believing that their dreams are within reach.

Thank you, Coach Clower, for investing in the next generation of athletes and for making our team feel so welcome. We truly appreciate your time and support.

⚔️ VALOR BASEBALL WEEKLY RECAP | June 15-21 ⚔️

Another action-packed week for Valor Baseball as our teams competed across the region, gaining valuable experience, battling through adversity, and continuing to grow both on and off the field.

🔥 Valor 9U
Finished the week with a pair of hard-fought victories, including wins over the Westco Expos. The young Vikings continue to show grit and determination while building confidence with every game.

💪 Valor 10U
Faced a tough stretch of competition against quality opponents from Wyoming and Nebraska. While the scoreboard didn’t always reflect their effort, the boys continued to compete, support one another, and gain valuable game experience that will pay off down the road.

⚾ Valor 11U
Picked up an impressive shutout victory over Spearfish Silver and continued battling through a challenging weekend tournament. The team continues to develop and show flashes of the baseball they’re capable of playing.

🏆 Valor Vikings Troy (14U)
Took on some of the area’s toughest competition this week. Every inning provided another opportunity to learn, improve, and prepare for the challenges ahead as they continue their summer season.

🔥 Valor 18U
Competed against strong Legion programs throughout the week, representing Valor with pride, toughness, and perseverance while gaining valuable experience against older competition.

❤️ More Than Just Baseball
While several of our players were competing with their Valor teams this weekend, others took the opportunity to support fellow Valor athletes who were selected to play with the Cap City Aviators in the series against the Casper Spuds. Seeing our players and families come together to cheer on their teammates is what the Valor family is all about. The support shown from the stands reminds us that we’re building something bigger than baseball—a community that celebrates each other’s successes and opportunities.

⚔️ Wins and losses are part of the game, but character, effort, sportsmanship, and teamwork are what truly define our program. Thank you to all of our players, coaches, families, and supporters for continuing to represent Valor the right way.

Happy Father’s Day from Valor Baseball 💙⚾

Today we honor the dads who show up long before the first pitch and stay long after the last out. The ones who tie cleats, throw late‑night bullpen sessions, sit through cold spring games, and cheer with full hearts no matter the score.

Baseball gives us moments we never forget — but it’s fathers who teach us what those moments truly mean. Patience. Grit. Humility. Joy. Love. The lessons learned on the field last a lifetime because of the men who stand beside these young athletes, guiding them one play at a time.

To every dad, stepdad, grandpa, and father figure who pours into our players: thank you. Your impact reaches far beyond the diamond.

This weekend, be sure to catch Taylor St. John, Michael Swan, and Colin Byrd as they take the field with the Cap City Aviators against the Casper Spuds right here in Casper!

We love seeing our players continuing their baseball journey and competing at a high level. Their hard work, dedication, and love for the game continue to make the entire Valor family proud.
