Our 10U campaign came to a close this weekend and what a year it’s been. A group that started as individual parts has formed a truly special bond, teammates and parents… An Elite family evironment.

This weekend we had 10 girls show up with a relentless mindset that they would not finish their season until they were the last team standing at home plate. After games across 3 days, 3 commutes back and forth from Pittsburgh for families, it came down to the bottom half of the last inning, down 4…. This team did what they’ve done all year, battled 1 through 10, strung together 8 consecutive hits/walks without conceding an out, and walked it off to earn a fitting championship close to what has been an awesome first year in navy and gold.

Last order of official business before leaving the 25/26 year was naming our final GOAT… 🐐

With more than a few options it’s hard to imagine choosing only one but… Caroline Fahnestock took home her 2nd GOAT of the season, the first and last awarded! 5-0 stayed hot all weekend, .600 avg / 1.800 ops with 9 hits, 11 RBI, and 12 runs scored. She also owned the circle when called upon, 72% strike rate for the weekend with 13Ks and only 1 free pass. Congrats C, you earned it kid! 💪🏻
