Thank you for the countless hours spent at the ballpark, the extra batting practice in the backyard, the early mornings, late nights, and everything you do behind the scenes to help these young athletes grow.

Your dedication, encouragement, and love make a lasting impact both on and off the field. We are grateful for every cheer from the stands, every ride to practice, and every lesson taught along the way.

The boys were treated to an incredible meal featuring pulled pork BBQ, homemade mac & cheese, coleslaw, and rolls. It was the perfect way to celebrate a great season and spend one last practice together as a team.

What started as a group of young ballplayers has become a team that plays with heart, hustle, and determination every time they step between the lines. This weekend is one more chance to watch these boys compete, have fun, and represent the Cougars family.

Come out and help us close out the summer season strong! Wear your Cougar gear, bring the energy, and let’s make some noise from the stands!

⚾️ COUGARS TOURNAMENT RECAP ⚾️

The Cougars battled hard against two tough opponents on Saturday, showing grit, determination, and plenty of fight throughout the day. While the results didn’t go our way, the boys never quit and continued to compete every inning.

🔥 Hot Bat Award: #6 Carter Matiak – Consistently squared up the ball all day and stayed hot at the plate.

🏆 MVP Chain: #10 Spencer Padgett – Led by example, sparked the offense, and put together an outstanding tournament performance.

🏆 Golden Glove: #14 Liam Cummings – Made several key defensive plays and showed great effort in the field.

The Cougars earned the #2 seed in the Silver Bracket and were set to face the East Cherokee Outlaws before rain brought the tournament to an early end, making the boys Silver Bracket Runner-Up.

Great job, Cougars! One more tournament next weekend—let’s keep working, keep improving, and finish the season strong! 💙⚾️

⚾️ TOURNAMENT WEEKEND RECAP ⚾️

The Canton Cougars started off strong on Saturday, facing two tough opponents in Acworth Navy and Hopewell. While the games didn’t go our way, the boys battled hard and earned the #2 seed in the Silver Bracket.

That set up a matchup against the East Cherokee Outlaws on Sunday. The Cougars came out ready to play and got off to a strong start, but Mother Nature had other plans. Heavy rain moved in and brought the game to an early halt, ultimately ending our tournament run.

With the weather cutting things short, the Cougars finished the weekend as Silver Bracket Runner-Up! 🥈

We couldn’t be more proud of the effort, growth, and determination these boys continue to show every time they take the field. They keep learning, improving, and competing together as a team.

Now it’s time to turn our attention to one final tournament next weekend—the Ozzie Albies Tournament. Let’s get locked in, work hard this week, and bring home another ring! 💍⚾️
