⚠️ Community Alert

We want to make our community aware of two reported incidents involving individuals claiming to be raising money for Skills FC / I Got Skills by selling candy.

At this time, Skills FC and I Got Skills are NOT conducting any candy fundraisers or door-to-door fundraising campaigns.

The reported incidents occurred:

📍 Mall of America
📍 Vadnais Heights

In both cases, the individuals asked for what appeared to be a small donation for a soccer trip. The donors later reported discovering much larger unauthorized charges on their payment accounts.

The payment process made it appear as though the fundraiser was connected to Skills FC / I Got Skills, but it was not affiliated with our organization.

If someone approaches you claiming to be fundraising for Skills FC or I Got Skills:
✅ Verify the fundraiser with us before making a payment.
💳 If you believe you've been affected, contact your bank or credit card company immediately to dispute the charge.
📞 Please contact us so we can document any additional reports.
🚔 If you believe you have been the victim of fraud, please report it to your local law enforcement agency.

We are sharing this information simply to help protect our community and prevent others from becoming victims.
