⚾️ PURPLE REIGN IS BACK IN BURBANK! ⚾️💜
This one means a little more.
Since 2013, the Burbank Rocky’s have proudly competed in the Burbank League. The journey hasn’t always been easy, but this organization has never stopped believing.
Our recent records tell the story of a team that refused to quit:
• 2023: 9-11
• 2024: 8-11
• 2025: 6-12
Those records don’t define us—they built us.
For the past three seasons, we’ve been adding the right pieces, building team chemistry, and creating a culture centered around hard work, accountability, and believing in one another. Every practice, every loss, every comeback has helped shape the team we are today.
Our goal has never changed.
🏆 Get back to the Championship Series for the first time since 2022… and bring home the championship.
Last night was another huge step toward that goal.
The Rocky’s defeated the Burbank Yankees, one of the premier organizations in the league. The Yankees have won multiple league championships and have represented the league in the Championship Series in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Nothing but respect to a first-class organization that always brings great competition.
The Rocky’s were trailing 4-3 heading into the bottom of the final inning.
Most teams would’ve folded.
Not this team.
We battled until the final out.
🔥 Joe Somers came through with a huge at-bat.
🔥 Michael Schellhorn delivered in a clutch moment.
🔥 Nate Perez put on a clinic with outstanding baserunning, creating pressure and putting the Rocky’s in position to win.
🔥 And Kidd Sanchez became the hero, delivering the walk-off hit!
That’s what championship-caliber teams do—they keep believing, they keep fighting, and they never quit.
This team is hungry.
Hungry to prove ourselves.
Hungry to get back to the Championship Series.
Hungry to bring a title back to the Rocky’s.
The journey isn’t finished.
It’s just getting started.
