Through the years, moments of crisis and triumph on the field and ice have stirred fans to pray harder than ever: names like Kelso, Malarchuk, Everett, Kelly, Jackson, Pegula, and most recently Hamlin have become more than athletes—they’ve been flashpoints for faith in a city that once thrived on worshiping Jesus. As graphic designers often say, teams are just logos stitched on jerseys and pressed to impress. But for fans, it’s deeper than that.
