Yesterday marked the last day of our intense back to school conditioning, Shadow Phase. Our Jag Wrestlers showed grit and toughness. Pushing their bodies and minds to limits that will prepare them for the mats.

Today, three of our Jaguar wrestlers represented Buda Johnson Wrestling at the 1st Annual Hays CISD Leadership Summit, hosted by 360 Athletics.
Throughout the day, they learned that leadership isn't about titles—it's about service, communication, accountability, and setting the standard every day. They challenged themselves, worked alongside student leaders from across Hays CISD, and returned with new tools to help strengthen our program.
We're proud of the way they represented our team and grateful for the opportunity provided by Hays CISD and 360 Athletics.
The standard doesn't change. Leaders are built by the choices they make when no one is looking.

As of 7/1/2026, the Texas UIL (University Interscholastic League) is using Rank One for information on students who compete in UIL events. Because we use Rank One to track our student athletes, every Hays CISD HIGH SCHOOL Athlete is now listed as ineligible in Rank One because of this change.

Please follow the directions below for the athlete to become eligible again.

1) Login to your Rank One account.

3) Click on UIL PAPF ELIGIBILITY
4) Answer the question and Sign
a. Returning athletes will click NO
