Horsemanship students had tune ups on their horses, rode outside the round pen for the first time in months, and yielded hindquarters for the first time!

Proud of their progress!!! 👏

Cherry on top: I had time to ride Mr. B. too!

Labor Day came and went… but the work on the ranch didn’t. Good day to inflate some 80 PSI tires. Patience is key.

Young horses need their teeth floated more often than adult horses. Doc had a loose baby tooth pulled and all of his teeth were filed. Kayli of Walking K Equine Dental Services did amazing work, again!

🐴 Looking to become a better horseman?

At iheartranch, horsemanship lessons are tailored to you and your lesson horse. You work on the skills you need most, whether that’s flexing at a standstill, doing rollbacks on the fence, or taking your horsemanship to the next level.

No matter where you’re starting, we’ll meet you there and help you build confidence, communication, and a better partnership with your lesson horse. 🤠❤️

Ready to put in the work and have some fun doing it?

Thanks for always supporting my crazy horse dreams and helping make iheartranch what it is. The horses, Jaspurr, and I sure hit the jackpot with you! ❤️

Mr. B. and Doc also received new fly boots, and Doc has officially moved up to mediums!

For the first time in awhile, the temperature was in the double digits before I taught horsemanship lessons!

We took advantage of the cooler air and had samples of our hay collected to be sent off for testing.

If you enjoyed the double digits last night, how’d you do it?
