⚾ We’re doing things differently- ✋

Instead of a traditional tryout, Team Voodoo is hosting OPEN PRACTICES designed to reduce the stress and anxiety players often feel during tryouts. Registered players will practice and scrimmage alongside returning Team Voodoo players, allowing our coaches to evaluate athletes in a real baseball environment while giving players the opportunity to simply play the game in a way that shows their skills.

🔥 We are only looking to add 3-4 players to our current roster.

Slightly delayed post but big shoutout to our 11U boys on a solid weekend in the Uncle T’s Warmup in Broussard!

After losing on walk-offs to the eventual #2 and #3 overall seeds in pool play, the boys fell to the bottom bracket. They battled through to get in 3 games on Sunday. Fell short of the W but great experience to understand how to finish the job next time 💪🏻🔥

We also had another first in #10 Derrick B hitting his first over the fence 💣 of the season! Congrats!

#13, Stafford, connected with his 9th 💣 of the season!

Lastly, but not least, shoutout to 6 Voodoo players on earning All-Tournament team for the weekend.

Extremely proud of #9, Blaydan F, on being the Top Pitcher on the weekend for 11U! That’s tough to achieve and he puts in the work to get it done!✅

Team Voodoo battled all weekend in Broussard. Lost their first two games by a combined 2 runs to what was eventually the number 2 and 3 overall seeds in the tournament.

They had to battle on Sunday and made it to the championship game. Unfortunately came up just short but they fought all the way! Hard work pays off and when they play for each other and block the outside noise they can really turn it on.

Big congrats to these 6 guys for making the All-Tournament team in the North LA NIT! A few familiar names but also a new one to the list in Warren B!

Great job fellas! Over 80% of the team has now made an all tourney showing this Spring! Hard work pays off!
