This is the half marathon training plan I’ve been using since 2015, regardless of the level or pace I’m at. More than ever, I believe that less is more, and this is what’s working for me at this point in my life.
I still have to adjust the distances because I want to be ready for race day and be able to give it everything I have. So, for now, I’m sticking with shorter runs during the week and one long run a week since I’m training for a half marathon.
If you’re looking for something a little easier, and I don’t mean that training for a half marathon is easy because it’s not. There’s time you have to put in, nutrition, hydration, recovery, and so many things that can happen during training. Don’t forget that you also need a good pair of running shoes.
At the end of the day, you have to do what works best for you and your body. I’m just sharing what’s working for me at this moment.
