Happy Father’s Day to all of our Brighton Football dads and coaches.

Thank you for the time, support, and love you pour into these boys and this program. Whether you’re coaching from the field, cheering from the stands, helping behind the scenes, giving rides, showing up after long days, or simply being there when it matters most it does not go unnoticed.

Football takes a village, and we are grateful for the dads and coaches who help teach our boys more than the game. You teach commitment, toughness, respect, accountability, and what it means to show up for the people who count on you.

You have so much to be proud of. Cherish the memories you created and the friendships you built. They form the pages of this chapter in your life. As you look back on them, I hope they bring you as much joy as coaching you brought me.

Graduation closes this high school chapter, but there is so much left to write. The road ahead will have its share of challenges and triumphs. That is life. Your success will come down to how you handle both.

Attack what is next with integrity, max effort, and absolute accountability. Live the Bulldog Way every single day. You will continue to make all of us proud.

How is a coach supposed to recruit you if they don’t know who you are first?

Adams State football camps are right around the corner. If you want to stand out, you have to do the work before you even step on the field.

Here are 3 things you must do before camp to get on a coach's radar:

1. Clean up your X profile. College coaches live on X (Twitter). Clean up your page. Put your position, class year, GPA, and a link to your film right in your bio.

2. Update your film. Refresh your highlight reel. Put your best 10 to 15 plays at the very beginning. Coaches make decisions fast, so lead with your best stuff.

3. Send a direct message. Do not wait for them to find you. Follow the coaches and send a direct message. Introduce yourself, state your high school, and link your film.

Opportunities are earned. Take ownership of your recruiting process today.
