At some point, a pattern you’ve repeated for 20+ years stops feeling like a pattern, and starts feeling like...
YOU. 😯
How many times have you said something like...
“I’m kinda an overthinker.”
“I’m just Type A.”
“I’ve always been a people pleaser.”
“I hate conflict. I’m just easygoing.”
How often do you slap a generic label on yourself simply because that’s the box you assumed you fell in or the most convenient way to describe yourself?
Been there done that 🙋🏼♀️, I mean we all do it.
However, there’s a key difference between “this is who I am and “this is who I learned to be.” And once you make that realization that your patterns (for better or worse) have been learned...you also realize it can be unlearned. 🤯
Suddenly, there becomes room to ask questions like...Who am I underneath everything I learned I had to be?
Underneath the people pleasing.
The control.
The overthinking.
The need to have it all together.
The goal isn’t to become a different version of you. It’s to get curious about what’s actually YOU…versus the things you’ve been doing on autopilot for so long, that you probably forgot there was a difference. 🤍
