Midwest Mayhem Nationals 2026 🥎

On 8/15, we battled our way to a 2nd-place finish in the Women’s Division at Nationals. We couldn’t be more proud of the effort, heart, and determination this team showed all weekend.

We also want to give a huge thank you to all of our supporters who cheer us on both on and off the field. Your encouragement means more than you know.

A special shoutout goes to the men’s team for sticking around, supporting us, and cheering us on throughout the tournament. Having that kind of support behind us makes a difference, and we appreciate every one of you.

Midwest Mayhem battled through a long, tough weekend and came out on top as Illinois State Champions!

We finished 5-1 on the weekend, playing through the rain all day Saturday and coming back Sunday determined to finish what we started. This team showed grit, resilience, and heart every step of the way.

When the weather got tough, these ladies got tougher. They never quit, never made excuses, and continued to fight for each other until the final out.

So proud of every player, family member, and supporter who helped make this weekend possible. The hard work, dedication, and commitment paid off.

🏆 ILLINOIS STATE CHAMPIONS! 🏆

We took an early loss to a tough Ignite team, battled our way through the entire losers bracket, and earned another shot in the championship. We had to beat them twice… and we did!!!

This team showed nothing but heart, grit, and determination all weekend. Couldn’t be more proud of this group!

The rain was relentless and the conditions were far from ideal, but this team battled through it all. We fought every inning, stayed focused, and left everything on the field until the tournament was called.

Proud of the grit, determination, and heart these ladies showed all weekend. Sometimes championships aren’t just about wins—they’re about overcoming everything thrown your way and finding a way to finish on top.

Not the finish we wanted, but proud of the fight this team showed all weekend. Midwest Mayhem battled hard and came up just short, bringing home 2nd place after a close championship game.

Final record: 3-2

Huge shoutout to tournament MVP Chelsey Simonson for leading the way all weekend.
