Women 50+: THIS is why we deadlift. 💪
Not just to lift a barbell.
We deadlift so we can pick up the case of water.
Carry the groceries.
Move the planter.
Lift the suitcase.
And keep saying “I’ve got it.” as we get older.
A properly performed deadlift trains your glutes, hamstrings, back, core and grip while teaching one of life’s most important movement patterns: how to safely pick something heavy up from the floor—and put it back down.
The goal isn’t just getting stronger in the gym.
It’s staying strong for LIFE. 💪🔥
Strong Mind. Strong Body. Strong Life. 💙
Women 50+
“Consider yourself warned. 😂💪
Strong today. Functional tomorrow.”
PSA: This is an advanced Balance ⚖️ move.
The goal is to progressively build the strength, stability and confidence that may eventually allow you to tackle a challenge like this.
A simple progression would be: start on floor single-leg stand → add an overhead hold → introduce a more challenging surface → combine instability + overhead load.
50+: we don’t train just to do exercises—we train to keep expanding what our bodies are capable of doing. 💪🔥
“Hey! Women 50+: we’re not training to look younger. We’re training to be dangerous longer. 🔥💪”
Who’s with me?!
“Over 50? Don’t just practice balance. Challenge it.”
One leg. 15-lb medicine ball overhead.
Looks simple…until you try it. 😉
This move challenges several things at once:
🔥 Balance — your body constantly adjusts to keep you upright
🔥 Core strength — your trunk has to resist leaning and rotation
🔥 Hip & ankle stability — key players in staying steady on your feet
🔥 Shoulder strength & control — holding weight overhead raises the challenge
🔥 Coordination — your brain and muscles have to work together as the load moves
After 50, balance shouldn’t be something we simply hope to keep.
We train it. We challenge it. We strengthen it.
Start lighter—or with no weight at all—and progress as your balance improves.
Strong. Stable. Capable. At every age. 💪
