Our World Series run has officially come to an end, and while it may not have ended the way we hoped, this week gave us something just as valuable—experience, perspective, and a clear picture of where we are and where we’re headed.

We competed against some very talented teams on one of the biggest stages many of these girls have played on to this point. We were tested in every way possible—by high-level competition, long days, difficult conditions, and yes, at times some adversity that was out of our control. But through all of it, these girls continued to compete, battle, and represent our program with toughness and pride.

This trip also taught us a lot. We found out quickly that the heat and turf combination in Panama City Beach is no joke, and we know there are areas of our game that have to be cleaned up if we want to make deeper runs in events of this caliber. The good news is that those lessons were earned on a stage that will only help prepare us for what’s ahead.

You don’t always grow the most in the games you win. Sometimes growth comes from getting punched in the mouth, taking your losses on the chin, and choosing to respond the right way. That’s exactly what this group will do. We now have a better understanding of what it takes, what we need to improve, and how much more locked in we have to be in the little things.

We will absolutely play in another World Series or Nationals down the road, but one thing is certain—USFA World Series in PCB will not be on our schedule again. Still, we’re grateful for the opportunity, grateful for the experience, and grateful for every lesson this week provided.

This one didn’t end with a trophy, but it did give us clarity. We’ll get back to work, clean up our mistakes, sharpen our game, and keep moving forward. This experience didn’t break us—it built us. And when our next shot comes, we’ll be better because of it.

We are back at it today after taking one day off to spend some recovery/family time. Bracket play begins against a TOUGH HTX Aces crew. We are scheduled to only play one game today. Then we will be back at it again tomorrow.

💯 100 STRIKEOUTS. 59 INNINGS. WORLD SERIES MILESTONE. 💯

Channing Estes put together one heck of a Spring/Summer 2026 season for Athletics Mercado 2032-Felts, recording 100 strikeouts and reaching that milestone at the 2026 USFA World Series.

What makes it even more impressive — she did it while rotating with three other pitchers and racked up those 100 strikeouts in just 59 innings pitched. This wasn’t including middle school ball and it wasn’t pickup games — these were strikeouts recorded strictly in the circle for Athletics Mercado 2032-Felts against legit competition all season long.

Proud of the grit, the composure, and the way she competed every time she stepped in the circle. Big-time accomplishment for a big-time kid. Keep working, #2… the best is still ahead. 🖤🤍🩶🥎

This 4th of July, we celebrate more than fireworks, flags, and the game we love. We celebrate the freedom that makes it all possible — the freedom to compete, to travel, to wear our country’s colors with pride, and to step on that field with our teammates beside us.

We never want to lose sight of the men and women who laid down their lives so we could live ours the way we choose. Because of their courage, their sacrifice, and their love for this country, our girls get to chase dreams, play softball, and make memories that will last forever.

Today, Athletics Mercado 2032-Felts honors those heroes and remembers that freedom has never been free.

🏆 12U OPEN CHAMPIONS. 🏆

This group just keeps finding a way.

After battling through a loaded field, Athletics Mercado 2032–Felts finished 4-2 and brought home another championship at the USFA June Jam, making it back-to-back 12U Open Tournament Champions!

The championship game couldn’t have had a more dramatic ending. With lightning flashing in the distance and rain starting to pour, Ava Pulley stepped to the plate and launched a walk-off home run to end it in unforgettable fashion. Moments like that are what these girls dream about.

Unfortunately, the weather had other plans, and a heavy thunderstorm rolled in as soon as the final run was recorded, so we never got our traditional championship pictures at home plate. But no storm can take away what this team accomplished.

We’re incredibly proud of every player for the fight, resilience, and heart they showed all weekend. We also want to thank every team we competed against for bringing tough competition and displaying outstanding sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

The standard has been set. Keep working. Stay hungry.🖤🤍
