Not a bad finish for his first time at Salem Speedway, due to a rain delay we didn’t have time to change the gear after qualifying 3rd, He was hitting the rev limiter halfway down the straight away. We will be back in October, it is an awesome facility. Thanks to everyone that helped him get here.

Went to Huntsville Speedway last night for the first time and came home with a second place finish. Car was a little to loose from center off to stay on the leader but Brantley loved the track and the speed, we are gonna tweak the car and go back sometime this season. Got to give a shot out to all the sponsors and Harrison Racing!

Wasn’t the victory he wanted, he has lead so many laps against some of the fastest young drivers in the south east this season with out a win, and they wasn’t there lastnight. Our driver is competitive and wants to feel like earns every spot he gets, I told him he earned that last night cause car developed a oil leak putting oil on the tires and became a hand full to drive , but he kept it up front so yeah he earned it.

I have waited a few days on posting about Saturday but here we go. Our driver qualified 2nd, started on the outside pole and tried something he had been practicing on IRacing in turns 1 and 2, shot out of turn 2 with a 4 car lead by mid straight away and continued to pull away till lap 9. On the re start we jumped so they called it back, this time Brantley was holding the breaks trying to keep from getting pushed and didn’t get a good jump, got tangled up in a racing incident and got put to the back. ( hated to see another good car get tore up) Brantley drove back to third, tried for second but damage from the incident caused the car to get loose down low. He crossed the finish line in third. After the race it was pointed out that a track official touched his car during a red flag, and it was said it was illegal. So after talking with INEX representative and others it was decided to score Brantley in last place and move everyone up one spot allowing others to finish higher in points. We was good with that because we have a fast racecar and a fast driver who’s racing IQ in improving and want to show others that we believe in good sportsmanship.
