Partnerships matter most when they create real opportunities for young people.

NRP Baseball is incredibly grateful for our continued partnership with CHAMPS and for the impact their program continues to have on young athletes and families throughout our community.

Over the years, NRP Baseball has had the honor of rostering many CHAMPS players. They bring diversity, personality, ability and a different energy to our teams. When CHAMPS players are on an NRP roster, their presence is felt — not simply because of how they play, but because of what they’ve done to earn the opportunity to be there.

Being a CHAMPS player comes with expectations.

Players are accountable for their academics, community involvement, work requirements and responsibilities to their team. The opportunities and scholarship support they receive are tied to that commitment. That makes it especially meaningful when one of these young athletes earns the opportunity to travel, compete and represent both CHAMPS and NRP Baseball.

That is a partnership we are proud to be part of.

And the impact extends beyond the field.

Events like Movie Night at Noyes Park give our players, families and neighborhood an opportunity to simply enjoy being together. Next up will be our Costume Home Run Derby on Halloween, another Movie Night at Noyes, and more experiences throughout the year designed around baseball, family and community.

Behind those events is something even more important: scholarship dollars being invested directly into young people and experiences that may not otherwise be available to them.

We are grateful to CHAMPS for trusting NRP Baseball to be one of the places where these young athletes can continue earning those opportunities.

Different backgrounds. Different stories. One clubhouse.

And every opportunity is earned. ⚾️🤝

Cooperstown All Star Village 2026.

The perfect ending to one chapter — and the beginning of another.

This group has grown up together on the small diamond. Through practices, tournaments, road trips, wins, losses, big moments and tough ones, they created memories and a brotherhood that goes far beyond baseball.

Cooperstown was our chance to celebrate everything this chapter has been.

And now… we move to the big diamond.

New distances. New challenges. A faster game. A different style of baseball. Another opportunity to grow, compete and prove ourselves.

We know there will be adjustments. We know there will be adversity. But that’s what makes the next chapter so exciting.

We aren’t trying to hold onto what was.

We’re excited about what’s next.

SOMETHING CHANGED TODAY.

We came into Cooperstown knowing this week would test us.

Through our first four games we were 2–2. We had already seen some of the best talent in the nation at the 12U level. The Wildcatters threw Hardin Sullivan and Jackson Peavy at us, and our boys held their own and found a way to put 4 runs on the board. That was all we needed to see. We knew we belonged. So today, the message changed. Enough of the nice Sh**.

We’re not taking our foot off the gas anymore. If it takes 10, score 10. If it takes 20, score 20. If it takes 30, score 30.

Trust your reads. Take the extra base. Apply pressure. Win Strike One. Play clean. Play fast. Play aggressive.

I’ll deal with the rest.

And these boys delivered.

We finished pool play 4–2 and earned the #25 seed in the Cooperstown bracket.

For the first-ever NRP Astros Cooperstown trip, these boys have already given this program something to be proud of.

But we’re not here to celebrate pool play. Because now none of those numbers matter.

Not 59 runs.
Not 45 home runs.
Not 4–2.
Not the #25 next to our name.

Bracket baseball is different. Everybody wakes up 0–0.
One game. One opponent. Win and keep playing. And waiting for us are the Greene County Outlaws. So now we find out what this group really came to Cooperstown to do.
