We didn't build ATvantage from the outside looking in.
We built it from within the profession because we lived the long seasons, the unsupported roles, and the environments that asked for everything and gave back very little.
That perspective shapes every role we build and every AT we bring into our network.

Here are a few things you can do this week to feel more confident in yourself and your professional readiness:
➡️ Complete or update your profile in the Sports Med Credentialing Center (SMCC). Having your certifications, CEUs, and credentials organized in one place puts you ahead of the conversation before it starts. https://www.sportsmedcc.com/
➡️ Brush up on leadership and soft skills. Platforms like or The Business ATvantage Podcast are great starting points for building the professional muscles that don't always get flexed in clinical training.
➡️ Review your documentation habits. Are your injury logs, treatment notes, and records where they need to be? Tight documentation protects you and reflects the standard of care you hold yourself to.
➡️ Know your market value. If you haven't looked at compensation data for your region lately, now is the time. You can't advocate for fair pay if you don't know what fair looks like.
➡️ Have the conversation you've been putting off. With your AD, your supervisor, or yourself. About your workload, your boundaries, or what next year needs to look like differently.
Advocacy starts with action.
