El Yunque is absolutely worth the visit. šæ The waterfalls are beautiful, the rainforest is lush, and itās an easy adventure from San Juan.
We actually preferred enjoying the first waterfall. While many people continue climbing the slippery tree roots to the upper falls, we didnāt feel it added much to the experience. It was crowded, and everyone was waiting their turn for the same photo. Sometimes the best part is simply slowing down and taking in the beauty thatās already right in front of you.
If this trip taught us anything, itās that some of Puerto Ricoās most memorable experiences were found once we ventured beyond the typical tourist stops. Some of our favorite moments came from renting a car, taking the scenic roads, and discovering places beyond the usual tourist route. We already canāt wait to come back, hike deeper into the rainforest, and continue exploring everything this island has to offer. šæš¦šµš·

Signed the paperwork or not, at least get the photos.
The commitment should come long before the contract. We built a life together, chose each other every day, and never needed a piece of paper to tell us what we already knew.

20 photos. Different seasons of modeling.
Learning that beauty means nothing without strength behind it.
There were honestly so many good ones to choose from⦠and definitely plenty of bad ones to hide š but looking back, every version of me was becoming the woman I am today.
Every shoot, every phase, every moment of confidence and insecurity shaped me in some way.
A little reminder to appreciate how far youāve come ā even while youāre still growing āØ

Devilās Bridge, AZ
First time in a long time, I was actually afraid.
As Iāve gotten older, heights have become very hit or miss for me. When we got to the bridge, I watched people lining up for photosāfamilies, kids, even dogs. From afar, it looked so narrow, and my anxiety started creeping in. I found myself looking away at times, thinking some people probably shouldnāt be out there risking it.
I even got a little snippy with .dan . He kept trying to get me to move, and I just couldnāt. I wanted to stay exactly where I was, almost like curling into a ball.
Then it was our turn.
Once I stepped out, I realized the bridge was a bit wider than I imaginedābut still, no railings, no safety net⦠just you. Itās one of those moments where you really feel how fragile life is.
After we got off, the fear faded, and I had to apologize. I told him I wasnāt upsetāI was just scared. And honestly, thatās what it was.
