Prior to starting his career as a law enforcement officer, David was a firefighter in the state of Florida. He then changed gears and became a certified law enforcement officer and in 2014 he retired after serving 26 1/2 years with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. During his tenure, he served in Patrol, on the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT), the Spec
ial Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT), K-9 Unit, Narcotics Division, Street Crimes Unit, Field Training Officer (FTO), and in the departments training unit. David holds certifications as a certified Firearms Instructor, Defense Tactics Instructor, Vehicle Operations Instructor, Certified CPR/First Aid Instructor, Certified Basic SWAT Operator, Certified Police Sniper, Certified Chemical Munitions and Less Lethal Specialist, ASP Instructor, Certified in Sub Machine Gun and Hostage Rescue techniques, Certified in the use of simunition. David is currently certified as an instructor for the American Red Cross and the American Safety Health Institute (ASHI). He is certified to instruct CPR/AED, CPR/AED/First Aid, Basic First Aid, Advanced First Aid, Basic Life Support, Bloodborne Pathogens, Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid, Wilderness First Aid, Emergency Oxygen, and Child & Babysitting Safety. Kelly held the rank of Deputy Sheriff for the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office for 15 years prior to retiring in 2012. During her tenure at the department, Kelly worked in Patrol, Community Policing, as a Field Training Officer (FTO), and as a School Resource Officer (SRO). Kelly also assisted the Narcotics and Vice divisions with special details during her career. Kelly is currently certified as an instructor for the American Red Cross and the American Safety Health Institute (ASHI). This is a blended class so you will have to complete the online portion that will be emailed to you at time of registration prior to the class. The class is $90.00.

American Red Cross certification course. This will be an Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED/Basic First Aid course on October 10th 2026 located at Fannin County Family Connections from 9am-1130am. This is a blended class so you will have to complete the online portion that will be emailed to you at time of registration prior to the class. The class is $90.00.
This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course, you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course. Upon registration, it is important that you review and follow the directions on the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content, a skills session and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities. Update on email account that was hacked. It has been fixed however please do not open any emails from High Speed Tactical & Safety Solutions prior to today’s date August 15th 2026. The hacker sent out an email with an attachment that once you open it, it accesses your entire email address catalog and copies it. Any emails sent on today’s date and moving forward are ok to open. Again we sincerely apologize for this but it has been handled. Thank you!

This will be an Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED/Basic First Aid course on Saturday July 18th 2026 at 9am located at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Atlanta Woodstock at 455 Parkway 575 Woodstock GA 30188. The class is $90.00 dollars. This is a blended class so you will have to complete the online portion that will be emailed to you at time of registration prior to the class. A Basic Life Support class (BLS) will also be held this date at the same location at 1pm. The BLS class is $80.00 dollars and is also a blended class.
