❓️Ever wonder what all we treat here? Great! Were starting a series that breaks down the most common surgeries and injuries we see! Up first...
🐾 TPLO… what does that even mean?
🦴TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) is a common knee surgery for dogs who have torn their CCL — similar to the ACL in people.
🪛The surgery changes the angle of the knee so it’s more stable when your dog walks and bears weight. After surgery, rehab plays an important role in rebuilding strength, improving mobility, and helping your pup safely get back to the activities they love!

🐾 September is Pet Pain Awareness Month!
Our Sound Hounds can’t tell us when something hurts—and sometimes the signs of pain are easy to miss. Slowing down, stiffness, hesitation on stairs, difficulty getting up, or changes in activity can all be their way of telling us something isn’t right.
That’s where prehab + and rehab come in.
Whether your Sound Hound is preparing for surgery, recovering from an injury, or managing arthritis or chronic pain, rehabilitation can help improve strength, mobility, comfort, and confidence.
At Sound Animal Rehab & Fitness, our goal is simple: helping your pet move better, feel better, and get back to doing what they love. 🐾
