Are you looking for something different in veterinary medicine? We may have just the job for you! Sound Animal Rehabilitation and Fitness is Birmingham's only privately owned rehabilitation practice that focuses exclusively on rehabilitation, sports medicine, pain management and canine fitness.

We are looking for the perfect candidate to develop into a rehabilitation therapist. Come be a part of the incredibly rewarding field of veterinary rehabilitation. If you are interested in your patients being happy to see you at every visit, Sound Animal Rehab and Fitness is the place for you!

Qualifications:
Licensed veterinary technician or an experienced veterinary assistant with 5 or more years of clinical experience to develop into a rehabilitation technician or assistant. Candidates with an interest in canine physical therapy, geriatric mobility, small animal sports medicine and canine fitness will be given preference. We are looking for 1 full-time technician/assistant and one part-time technician/assistant that would expand into a full-time role as we grow.

Experience:
Candidate must have 5 or more years of experience as a veterinary technician or assistant with very strong client communication skills. Must excel at teamwork and communication with peers and be a self-starter. Excellent time management and multitasking skills. Candidates must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Compensation:
Determined based on experience and credentials, with room for growth, leadership. We will also consider a tuition stipend for the right candidate who is interested in certification in the specialty of rehabilitation.
